Tour Plan

  • Day 1: Islamabad ➝ Naran / Chilas
    Drive through the beautiful Kaghan Valley and over Babusar Pass (if open), stopping at Lulusar Lake and alpine meadows. Overnight in Naran or Chilas.
  • Day 2: Naran / Chilas ➝ Minapin (Nagar Valley)
    Continue north along the Karakoram Highway to reach Minapin, a charming village at the base of Rakaposhi.
  • Day 3: Minapin ➝ Hapakun Camp
    Begin the trek with a steady ascent through forest trails to Hapakun Camp (~2,800m). Pitch tents and acclimatize in this tranquil alpine setting.
  • Day 4: Hapakun ➝ Rakaposhi Base Camp ➝ Taghafari ➝ Hapakun
    Trek to the legendary Rakaposhi Base Camp (3,600m) and the panoramic Taghafari Ridge. Enjoy glacier views before returning to Hapakun Camp.
  • Day 5: Hapakun ➝ Minapin ➝ Hunza
    Descend to Minapin and drive to Hunza (Karimabad). Relax at your hotel and enjoy views of Ultar Peak and Ladyfinger.
  • Day 6: Hunza City Tour
    Visit Altit & Baltit Forts, stroll through Royal Gardens, and shop in Karimabad Bazaar. Optional sunset at Eagle’s Nest.
  • Day 7: Hunza ➝ Ganish ➝ Hopper Valley ➝ Return
    Explore Ganish Village, then head to Hopper Valley to witness Hopper Glacier and views of Golden Peak. Return to Karimabad by evening.
  • Day 8: Hunza ➝ Gojal Valley (Passu & Hussaini)
    Visit Attabad Lake, Passu Cones, and cross the famous Hussaini Suspension Bridge. Explore Upper Hunza and return by night.
  • Day 9: Hunza ➝ Khunjerab Pass ➝ Return
    Drive to the Pakistan-China border at Khunjerab Pass (4,693m) through Sost and Khunjerab National Park. Return to Karimabad in the evening.
  • Day 10: Hunza ➝ Naltar Valley ➝ Gilgit
    Take a detour to the lush Naltar Valley, visiting Satrangi Lake and the ski resort. Arrive in Gilgit for your final night in the north.
  • Day 11: Gilgit ➝ Naran / Besham
    Begin the return journey via Babusar Pass (if open) or KKH. Stop for photos and local cuisine en route. Overnight in Naran or Besham.
  • Day 12: Naran / Besham ➝ Islamabad
    Enjoy a scenic drive back to the capital with optional tea stops and local crafts shopping along the way.
